Demonstration of combined affine and b-spline registrations.
- Top left: Data sets from two different subjects. Axial view.
- Bottom left: Same data after affine and b-spline registrations. Axial view.
- Bottom right: Saggital view after registration.
The moving data set is colored blue, the target data set has reddish colors. The parameters used for the b-spline registration are visible in the panel on the right. The affine transform computed in less than 10 seconds on a Interl core duo 2GHz laptop with 3.5GB of ram. Running the b-spline algorithm and creating resampled volume took about 3 minutes.
