3. Saving

Like loading, saving interface could be simplified -- or broken into a simple and advanced presentation. First time a user arrives here, he is confronted with the concept of a scene and wonders: What is a scene?

  • Present a simple option: "Save 3D Slicer scene description and all unsaved data" separate from advanced UI.
  • Present a "help icon" that explains what a scene is.
