3. Saving

Like loading, saving interface could be simplified -- or broken into a simple and advanced presentation. First time a user arrives here, he is confronted with the concept of a scene and wonders: What is a scene?

  • Present a simple save interface: "save all unsaved data"
  • Present a "help icon" that explains what a scene is.
  • Or make it clear that all adjustable settings for save destinations, formats, etc. are ready to go -- no additional information is necessary.
