Sign-up on the developers mailing list- Register on the issue tracker
- Join the 3DSlicer BarCamp G+ community.
- Sign-up on github and setup Git
- Read the Slicer Style Guidelines so that we all understand each other :)
- To contribute documentation, request an account on the wiki.
- Scan through developer FAQ.
- Read step-by-step tutorial explaining how to create, build, test and distribute an extension.
