exporter = vtk.vtkOBJExporter()
exporter.SetFilePrefix('/tmp/tracts')
layoutManager = slicer.app.layoutManager()
view = layoutManager.threeDWidget(0).threeDView()
exporter.SetRenderWindow(view.renderWindow())
exporter.Write()
This code created two files tracts.obj and tracts.mtl which are available in Media:OBJtracts.tar OBJtracts.tar.
