This page aims at describing the different steps required to install QtSDK 1.2 on Linux 64-bit so that Qt 4.7.4 libraries are also installed.

Installation Instructions

Set permission to be user executable

If QtSDK installer hangs, use -style cleanlooks command line option. For details, see here.


Do the custom installation to ensure Qt 4.7.4 is installed (not by default)
Check Qt 4.7.4 and uncheck useless components
Important checks
Accept licence
Install 1/2
Install 2/2
Finish


Check installation is successful
