&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;Emily Hammond graduated with her B.S.E. in Biomecial Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2012. Since then, she has been pursuing her doctoral degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Iowa under the mentorship of Dr. Jessica C. Sieren. With the significant involvement of medical imaging in cancer disease management, she has focused her research on improving the non-invasive detection, diagnosis, and progression evaluation capabilities of medical imaging modalities. Specifically, she has developed image acquisition protocols using computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and applied image processing techniques to perform longitudinal analysis on the acquired images.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
